Adding texture to a design can really help add a bit of style to it, help a design breathe, or even make a boring design a little bit more exciting. So we have 4 free grit textures for you to download and use in your own work. This is a very common design practice and it's easy enough that anyone can do it, even a total beginner! Watch our tutorial to learn how to do this in Adobe Illustrator.

Getting Started

Before beginning, please install all of the fonts located in the fonts folder. These are fonts free for commercial use and are set up to work with these templates.

If you would like to use your own fonts, feel free to get creative!

Type

All text is fully editable to allow you to change your country of origin, fabric content and more. Simply bring up the Type tool (T), click what you would like to change on the Type layer, and type.

Logos

To replace the logo, simply delete the existing elements within the Logo layer and replace with your design.

Colours

For the convenience of you screen printers out there, all printable elements come pre-filled with spot colour Pantone Cool Grey 6 C so you can get to screen set up faster!

Inverted

If using the inverted versions for screen printing, leave the text and graphic elements white. If your film printer is set to read in spot separations, it will only pick up the grey spot colour.

No need for the pathfinder tool here.
